This data and privacy statement (“Privacy Statement”) describes the data and privacy policies of Target Data, Inc. (“Target Data”), a Delaware corporation with offices at 626 W. Jackson Blvd, Suite 100, Chicago, Illinois 60661. At Target Data, we take data privacy very seriously and are committed to good privacy practices regarding private data. We believe in transparency and are upfront about our privacy practices, including how we treat personal and client information. We collect personal and non-personal data through our products and services, directly or in conjunction with our business clients. We design our products and services with privacy and data protection as key principles and have created this Privacy Statement to describe and explain our data collection practices. While this Privacy Statement was designed to address data privacy requirements from across the globe, some parts of this Privacy Statement may apply to certain countries only. About Target Data
Target Data is a technology-enabled marketing services firm. For nearly a decade, Target Data has provided companies with innovative, cost-effective people-based marketing solutions. We have worked tirelessly to build a legacy of outstanding service, expertise, and integrity, going above and beyond to ensure our clients spend their marketing dollars smarter. We work with many different companies to provide a variety of products and services.
Target Data hosts and maintains various third-party data on behalf of our clients. When Target Data provides data products to our clients we adhere to the terms and conditions defined by the third party suppliers of such data.
We may use Google Analytics and other partners for the following purposes:
- Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. Target Data uses data from Google’s Interest-based advertising or third-party audience data (such as age, gender and interests) with Google Analytics to inform our marketing strategy.
Personal Data We Collect About You
We collect personal and non-personal demographic data from a variety of sources. This information is collected through our business clients, depending on the product or service. In certain circumstances, we also gather other contact and demographic information from publicly available sources. “Personal data” or “personal information” means any information publicly available relating to a person that directly or indirectly allows us to identify such person.
We collect data provided by our clients and additional marketing data acquired from third party sources for analysis. We can collect both personally-identifiable information (“PII”) and non-PII. We do NOT collect personal health information (“PHI”). PII and non-PII data can represent publicly available demographic and marketing information.
How We Use Information We Collect
Target Data’s business clients provide a variety of products and services to their customers and use Target Data’s technologies to help process data relevant to those products and services. We use the information provided by our business clients in conjunction with the information we collect from publicly available sources. Information collected by our business clients or otherwise is subject to the data and privacy policies of these third-parties and our business clients and such data collection and privacy policies are outside the scope of this Privacy Statement.
How We Share the Information We Collect
To provide products and services to our business clients, we may share personal and non-personal publicly available information to run effective marketing campaigns for our clients. Other than the business clients to whom we are providing the services requested, we do not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties without aggregating, anonymizing and/or de-identifying it first. If we combine personal information with the other information we collect, the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined. For all personal information that can reasonably be aggregated and/or anonymized, Target Data will take steps to do so before sharing with unaffiliated third parties.
How We Secure Information We Collect
We safeguard your information, as follow: we use a variety of physical, technical, and administrative security measures that help to safeguard your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction or theft, including the use of encryption and other technology safeguards. It is important to keep in mind, however, that no security measures are absolutely effective. We also require third parties to protect information in accordance with our strict information security policies that align with generally-accepted information security standards.
When required we ensure that we have data protection agreements in place with any service providers that we engage. We review our internal security policies and guidelines periodically to review new technology, methods, risks of processing the data, and the nature of the data being protected. We limit access to our databases containing personal data to authorized persons having a justified need to access such information. All personal data provided to us is stored on secure servers.
How We Retain Information We Collect
We store personal information for as long as necessary for us and our business clients to provide products and services, to comply with legal obligations, or to administer any product or service. We review our data retention policies periodically and comply with local legal requirements. Personal and client data collected by Target Data is stored or processed in the United States.
Specific Information Related to Users in California
California Residents: California law permits its residents to request and receive information about a business’ disclosure of certain categories of personal information to other companies for their use in direct marketing. If you are a California resident see the “Contact Us” section for ways to contact us. Please include your name and email address in email requests, and your name and postal address in mail requests.

As Required by Law
Target Data may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law such as to comply with a subpoena or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to be in compliance with applicable laws, to protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on Target Data or to protect and defend the rights or property of Target Data.
The laws of the state of Delaware govern the terms of this Privacy Statement; provided, that personal information collected from third-party clients or other public sources are subject to the terms and conditions of those third party agreements and their respective governing laws.
